Well I have been so inspired by all the beautiful rooms that I have seen on other blogs that I have decided to make it my mission to turn my house into a home in 2011. I guess that's my resolution SORTA. I always look and say oh how nice but never take the plunge past paint, that my husband always wants to hire for, and now I am ready. So as www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com is doing her best of 2010. I will be doing my redo's of 2011. So to start hereare two spaces I will start with since I think they should be pretty easy and build my self confidence in the process.
1. My staircase
I want to do a picture wall or something and I have been thinking about painting the rail.
The other side. I also would love to take the carpet off the stairs but I'm nervous.

Look through Pottery Barn Kids online or catalog. There are always great ideas and things to recreate for less =)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya. I do look but never think about recreating things I see for less. I will have to start doing that. I just find it hard since I have no HomeGoods or Ikea or other good bargain stores closer than 1.5 hrs away.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are heading in the right direction. YOur home should always be reflective of you and who you are. I see you love the use of color...me too:) that just makes me happy. Just have fun..and blogging can give you so much inspiration.
