No Pics!!!!!!
I don't know if I told you but I am in the market for a new camera. I want a SLR. I guess my current camera found out and became jealous since the flash decided to stop working right when I started doing research. This not having a working flash has caused me to not want to take any pictures. None of my rooms have alot of natural light so the pics I do get aren't very good. So with this picture free post I am asking for any suggestions on a good SLR camera. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg since I a beginner in photography. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOON!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Nikon d5000 that I really LOVE. I recommend Amazing, they have some used ones where you don't really have to pay an arm and leg for. Hope you find one soon because I know I will have a hard time without my camera ( my kids probably wouldn't mind me without a camera for a while, lol)
ReplyDeleteI have a Nikon D60 and I like it but I need to learn more about it! I have a ways to go.
ReplyDeleteI have a Sony digital camera. Unfortunately, I'm not into those expensive camersa. Look around your city and comapre prices. Also, if you find one you really like, have a look on Ebay and see if you can purchase the same camera for a slightly lower price. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI heard so many good things about the Canon Rebel - we want a new SLR camera too!! Good luck in your search
ReplyDeleteI'm in the market for a camera too...there are SOO many to choose from!! I'm interested to see what you end up getting :) newest follower! your header picture is AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteNikon D60 I love. I added an extra lens to it a few years later and am super glad I saved for that! We purchased our camera and lens at Buydig.com (as well as our television) and saved a lot vs buying locally and have been extremely pleased with that site. Just fyi.
ReplyDeleteLove the Valentine's girly shirt! Yes, girls are more fun to dress:)
Thanks everyone for the help. I have heard from people that Canons are easier to work compared to Nikon if you're a beginner, which I am. I also was told not to buy the kit but rather the body and a better lens. I am leaning toward the Canon Rebel XS or T2i an adding the zoom lens since I kids who play sports I was told that would be a good lens to have. Thanks Amanda for the website. I will be checking it out like now.
ReplyDeleteChandra,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much about the pictures. I'm definitely not a photographer and I feel like it takes me forever to get a good shot. I use a point and click camera, it's a sony cybershot. I bought it for just everyday picture taking and the started using it on the house. I fuss with the pictures a lot afterwards, cropping and stuff. I was reading someone else's blog that uses a point and click and she recommended using Picasa to edit photos and that's what I used for the spring ones. It helped me to get them brighter like it is in person that I couldn't capture in the picture because of the lighting and flash.
Here are two websites, Miss Mustard Seed and Funky Junk. The first talks about camera options, the other about photo editing and Picasa including the free download of the program. My brother has a "fancier" camera and when he comes home in a couple of weeks he's going to bring it home for me to try out, I'll let you know if it makes a difference. Hope this helps!
