Small starts

As I have previously stated this is my year that I will begin to decorate my house.  I have been inspired by so many of the bloggers that I have encountered that it has made me decide to do some DIY and decorating myself.  So since I have to take baby steps I thought I would share some of the things that I have purchased for my home.
Found these things at a consignment sale.  The white 2 shelves  for KC and the wood one I will paint.  The star is for the boys room which I will also paint.

Lamps from TJ Maxx on clearance for my room.

2 Drapery panels from TJ Maxx also on clearance for $5.00 a panel SCORE!!!!!

Things for boys room.  Sailing will be painted.

Things for lil miss KC's room.  I plan on painting her room a shade of yellow.  What do you think?

Found at Goodwill for $1.00.

So now that I have shown you some beginnings I can't wait to show you the progress.  I am nervous but hopefully I will do a good job.  So cross your fingers and keep checking back for more progress.

    Oh Chandra,What great deals you have found. I would say you are off to a great start. Look forward to seeing your progress. I loved reading your profile. Sweet lady, you will do fine.
