so no photos in this post because that is what I have been. There has been so much going on around here. Hubby has a new work schedule, baseball, school, and now deciding to homeschool my children. I mentioned that I was thinking about the last one and I now feel that it is what God has lead me to do. Also I have added some more things to KC's room and the boys so I well hopefully get pics up soon. I won't say when since spring break is coming up here and we are heading to Tennessee to have some fun. If anyone knows of some great stuff to do in the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area let me know.
On another note tonight I had a great experience. My Sunday school girls got together to do some cleaning for a Jubilee Academy. Jubilee Academy is a Christian school that caters to children in the projects here in Columbia. It's was amazing to hear what these kids are living and seeing. I am so glad that Sandy, the director, felt the call of God to take the time and invest in the lives of these children. Not only does she run the school but she also has had custody of kids at points. I encourage you all to volunteer some time if you can to a program that will make an impact on a child's life. After all they are our FUTURE. If we don't invest in them and think someone else will a change could never come. I know that I don't get out and do much but I definitely was moved to become more involved in doing so.

Here's a little
As you know I have decided that 2011 is the year to decorate my home. So in my quest to do so I have started some projects. I am not completely finished but I figure I'll show you what I have been working on.
1. KC's room do you remember it looked like this:

Now we have come to this:
the wall you see when you walk in the room |
the dress she wore for her dedication |
my diy bedskirt |
monogramed headboard |
I added trim to the lamp |
looking in from the doorway |
Things left to do:
new hardware on dresser
fix drawer and repaint dresser
hang shelves on wall
hang letters for monogram on wall
get or make throw pillows
add window treatments
So this is the work done in my KC's room. I will show you more work from another room on another day. I feel you have dealt with my rambling long enough. Please give me feedback and any suggestions you may have. After all I am learning.

Happy St. Patrick's Day
Well the luck of the Irish hasn't quite been here today. Today is my anniversary but hubby has to work tonight so hopefully we will get to do something this weekend. I am grateful for the hard work that my husband does but I sure wish he was off today. 10 years ago I married the love of my life. We have definitely had our ups and downs. We aren't on the same page right now as in I am trying to strengthen my relationship with the Lord and he isn't but I am doing a lot of praying so if you would join me in my prayer for him to turn back to God I would LOVE it.
So did your kiddos wear their green to school today? Mine of course did and I have the pics to show you. So thanks to my wonderful new camera here they are.
I hope you had a great day. Now the kiddos and I are off to go get some green ice cream from Chik-Fil-A. MMMMMMMM

Busy
Well now that I have my new camera I need to learn how to upload my pictures. I have been so busy that I haven't had read my manual all the way yet so uploading pictures hasn't happened yet. I have taken some pictures and am excited to show you all what I have accomplished in adding some life to my house. I hope to will get pictures up soon and very soon. Thanks for bearing with me.
Now on a new note I have been doing much thinking and praying about our school situation for our boys. I homeschooled JC in K and enjoyed it. With my husbandspushing suggesting I let him go back to school last year in 1st grade. He is now in 2nd and my LC is in K and I still am not pleased as much as I think I should be. Now my dear hubby is ready to homeschool now. He wants to make Friday LC's last day and give me more time to get things for JC. Since K isn't mandatory in SC I can pull LC without a problem but I want to be prepared sure as to whether I should wait until after spring break or go for it now. I don't want my kids to suffer because I am not sure as to when. I do know that I feel God leading me to homeschool but I don't know when he wants me to start.
Thank you forlistening reading my rant and feel free to offer your opinions.

Go see this
If any of you have daughters I suggest that you go check out Christie and read the wonderful post she put up about her daughter. It has made me think of what and how I will teach my daughter and sons that their value comes from above. I have so many thoughts in my head that sometimes just don't come out into writing very well but I love how here in blogland people aren't ashamed to share their faith in the one true God. I love to read the eloquent post and say I feel the same way. We all have gifts and some of you are great writers and I am thankful to be able to share in the small tidbits of your lives.
They only hold your hand for a little while and your heart forever.

I got it
I finally made a choice or rather my wallet made a choice for me. After looking at cameras for a while I had decided that I wanted the Canon T2i. It's a great camera but I just didn't want to pay the price. So when I went into Target yesterday and saw the Canon T1i on clearance for $549.00 I couldn't pass it up. It was originally $799 so I am ecstatic about my savings. Now I will be able to post some good pics of the things that I have been working in the house. I can't wait. As a matter of fact I was so excited to use it that I took it to LC's first t-ball game tonight and forgot and didn't have the SD card in. I know I know very smart Chandra. Well at least they each have a game tomorrow and Saturday so those will be our 1st game pics.

Reveal........
Well not yet. The work is done and I must say that I love the wall taken out. I want to show pics but that will have to wait until my house is presentable. It is in shambles right now. From moving furniture to getting to the baseball field to chasing 3 kids and going to school I am a not getting much done in the house. So stay tuned for the pics to come later this week of the changes.
On another note my oldest, JC, has his first baseball game tomorrow with LC having his on Thursday. Now I must say being the youngest of 3 with 2 older brothers I really can appreciate the sacrifices my parents made to make sure that my brothers got to their baseball games and practices and me to my dance classes and events. I only have 2 playing sports, since KC is only 2, and I sometimes feel like I don't know whether I am coming or going. Not to mention that my mother did all of this and worked a full time job. I am grateful to be able to have my boys in sports and love watching them play and having fun. I love this family and wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh by the way you'll also be seeing pictures of baseball later this week also.
