The hunt is on.....

for furniture for our family room.  The set that we have now is not that old but we were told that it was stain proof FALSE.  The recliner is broken and it's just not that good.  We have had LaZBoy furniture in the past and loved it so we went there to look at some again.  They also have a free design service if you are going to purchase from them.  They came out today to look at our room.  We will see their design on Monday.  We want to keep looking at furniture and don't want to have to give one of our children to pay for it.  If you have any suggestions for some furniture that will "TAKE A LICKIN AND KEEP ON TICKIN" then please let me know.
I thought I had a better pic of the couch and chair but here it is in the background.  Not a great looking couch and chair , the loveseat is to the left of the chair.  What were we thinking?

  1. We just bought new furniture! LaZboy also. I love it. I'm not sure of the name or style, but we love it. Pretty inexpensive too :)

  2. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a touching comment on my blog! I have also learned the hard way that the stain proof claim is false! Good luck with your hunt!

  4. Hey Chandra! I love a good furniture hunt! Good luck with yours. To answer your question about hiding the wires to the t.v, well it is a little more involved than I can explain. But, my husband strung the wires from the attic down the wall and then purchased a mounting kit for the t.v. You drill a hole , wow, even now it doesn't make sense to me!! LOL!! You may want to google this! LOL! All I know is he ran wires behind the wall from the attic!!!! Wow! I didn't help you at all! So sorry!
